A Murphy Broadcasting Executive Sales Assistant is an invaluable tool to the sales rep. Dependability and reliability are a must. You must posess working knowledge of a variety of software programs. Communicate effectively with clients and co-workers and adapt readily to constant demands and last-minute deadlines, and working with an ever-changing schedule in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
Research various businesses for the development and preparation of sales presentations.
Create tables, charts, spreadsheets and reports as needed.
Prepare other marketing materials as directed by Sales Rep.
Manage appointment calendar and contacts for Rep.
Interact with clients regarding scheduled appointments, ad copy content, ad
copy run times, etc.
Interaction with traffic department to monitor inventory, scheduling
conflicts, copy restrictions, and missing copy.
General office back up as needed.
Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook. Basic knowledge of internet protocol. Power Point and Access
a plus.
Excellent writing skills with strong emphasis on spelling and grammar.
Desktop publishing experience a plus.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through required.
